My name is Stefan Vatov and this is my online corner - a journal about building software, exploring ideas, and the adventures along the way.
I lead an engineering team shipping backend systems. While my primary driver is TypeScript, I bring professional experience in Rust and a deep focus on Elixir for side projects. I’m a firm believer in using whatever the problem demands. Whether that’s building AI-powered products, designing backend systems, or making the high-level decisions that hold them together.
Exploring can sometimes feel daunting. I’d rather think of it as a Grand Adventure. Most of the fun is in the journey, not the destination.
The years are passing, but my passion for building only grows. This site is my outlet for thinking and a record of the journey as I move forward.
